G&H OL 426, 454/455/462 – variable low and high level radiance standards

These radiance standards are based on an integrating sphere coated with PTFE to realize a uniform illumination. The radiance (and luminance) can continuously be adjusted via a micrometer screw.

  • OL 426 is a variable standard for an extremely low radiance in a range of 350 cd/m² down to ca. 10E-6 cd/m².
  • OL 466 is an equivalent to the OL 426. It is, however, automated by a microprocessor control and can completely be controlled by an external control PC.
  • OL 455 is a variable standard for a high radiance.
  • OL 462 is an equivalent to the OL 455. It is, however, automated by a microprocessor control.

All standards mentioned above are equipped with a finely matched photodiode which is used a monitoring diode whose value is calibrated to luminance.

Alternatively, there is the OL 454 available which is analogous to the OL 455. It has, however, no monitoring diode. In this case, the calibration is possible for a certain adjustment of the micrometer screw (in general, when completely opened).
