The uncertainties in the measuring process of radiant sources are greatly determined by the precision of the power supply. By the current variance only, conventional constant power supplies have a radiometric uncertainty of approximately 0.3 - 3%. To reduce these uncertainties to < 0.01% OPTE-E-MA offers precision power supplies which have been developed especially for radiometric and spectral radiometric measurements. Integrated lamp libraries and soft ramps for switching the lamps on and off are some of the essential features.
